Freshman Sydney Seymour ran like anything but a first year competitor at the OHSAA state meet this past weekend when she battled with the best in the state. On a cool, windy day Seymour ran the fastest time of her young career in 18:55, which was good for 28th overall in the big school race. Her time makes her the fastest freshman in SJA history, and she was the 4th fastest frosh in the whole state for Division I.
Congratulations to Sydney and to the entire team for another successful season!
