This is the time of year that I always warn parents and
students about. School is in full swing,
running/training is starting to catching up with us, and as the weather change
hits more flu-like illnesses start to attack as our immune systems are breaking
down.
Parents – please continue to enforce reasonable hours of
studying, etc…Athletes take care of yourselves!
Sleep, hydrate, and eat properly to keep your energy levels up. Half the battle of succeeding at the end of
the season is being HEALTHY enough TO SUCCEED.
Also, keep good shoes on your feet. The expense now certainly outweighs being
injured and frustrated later.
